The law

What the law requires for receiving

Everyone must receive

The VAT Act (§ 71(5)) requires it of every business, non-VAT payers included.

It comes through your postman

It is delivered to you by your Peppol ID, made of the prefix 0245 and your company's DIČ.

Keep it for 10 years

The law requires you to keep it in the original data file, not as a PDF copy.

In Thweite

Questions and answers

What you ask about receiving

Do I pay for received e-invoices?

No. Receiving e-invoices is free and has no limit.

Can I receive e-invoices before 2027?

Yes. As soon as you choose us as your postman on the Financial Administration portal and the connection is complete, e-invoices start arriving straight in Thweite automatically.

What if a supplier also sends me the same invoice by e-mail?

If you already have that invoice in Thweite, we warn you about the duplicate when you file it. So you never book the same invoice twice.

How does an e-invoice reach my accountant?

Invite them to Thweite as a user. They export the e-invoices into their accounting software, or send them there through Thweite Connector.

I have several companies. How does it work?

Each company has its own Peppol ID and its own postman. In Thweite you have them under one account and see each company's e-invoices separately.
